Etched Forms
Printmaking became a parallel exploration of form and texture for me in late 2022, guided by the invaluable mentorship of Ryan Abreu (CEPT), Walter D' Souza (CEPT) and Elisabeth Haly Meyer (Cornell). I began with intaglio, experimenting with dry point, aquatint, and open and straight bite techniques to push the limits of mark-making. Now, through an independent study in lithography, I continue to explore architecture as a subject—though not in its conventional form. These prints distort, abstract, and reimagine space, capturing the built environment through layers of ink, pressure, and process.
