Designed to accommodate a small group of students for an extended stay, this institution carefully orchestrates spatial organization to foster openness and connection with nature. Programmatic spaces are strategically distributed to preserve a clear North-South axis, ensuring visual and spatial continuity while allowing the site to embrace the presence of a majestic existing banyan tree.
Inspired by the planning principles seen in Shreyas, where Balkrishna Doshi and Kamal Mangaldas intentionally dispersed spaces to create key campus nodes, this design follows a similar philosophy. By positioning structures as anchors rather than barriers, the layout encourages organic growth and gradual evolution over time, ensuring a flexible and adaptive environment that remains responsive to its surroundings.
*Groupwork at conceptual stage. Campus designed in a group of three with specific programs individually designed.
